Project instructions are rules every agent reads before it starts work in a project, such as your coding style, which tools to use, or things never to touch.
Add instructions
- Open the project and select Project settings in the sidebar.
- Write your instructions in plain words.
- Save. They apply to every new message in every conversation of the project.
Ideas for what to include
- The languages, frameworks and versions the project uses
- How you like code formatted and tested
- Folders or files agents shouldn’t change
- Who the project is for, and the tone to write in
