Terms of service
The agreement between you and us when you use Swarm Agentic.
Last updated
These terms are an agreement between you and Made for Web (ABN 35 279 723 822), which operates Swarm Agentic (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Swarm Agentic, you agree to them. If you’re using Swarm for a business, you agree to them on that business’s behalf.
The service
Swarm Agentic is a desktop app for Windows that lets you run AI coding agents, such as Claude Code, Codex and OpenCode, side by side. Swarm doesn’t provide an AI model of its own. It runs the agents you connect, using your own accounts with those AI providers.
Your account
You need an account to use Swarm. Keep your sign-in details safe, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account. You’re responsible for what happens under your account.
Free trial
New accounts get a 14-day free trial with every feature included. You need to add a payment card to start the trial, but we won’t charge it until the trial ends. If you cancel before the trial ends, you won’t be charged. Each person or business can use the free trial once.
Subscription and payment
- After the free trial, Swarm costs the price shown on our pricing page, billed monthly in advance.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us, through Stripe, to charge your payment method each month until you cancel.
- If we change the price, we’ll tell you by email at least 30 days before the change applies to you. You can cancel before then if you don’t want to continue.
- Your subscriptions with AI providers are separate. They’re billed by those providers, under their own terms.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from your account. You’ll keep access until the end of the month you’ve paid for, and you won’t be charged again. We don’t give refunds for partial months, except where the law requires it.
Using Swarm on your computers
One subscription covers you on up to three computers. Your subscription is for you, or one person in your business. Don’t share your account with others.
Your work
Your projects, conversations, docs and files are yours. Swarm stores them on your computer, and we don’t claim any rights to them. You’re responsible for backing up your work.
AI agents and other services
When you connect an AI agent, you use it under your agreement with its provider, and that provider’s terms and policies apply. We aren’t responsible for what AI agents produce, for their availability, or for changes their providers make. Always review an agent’s work before you rely on it, especially changes it asks to make to your files or commands it asks to run.
Acceptable use
Don’t use Swarm to:
- break the law or anyone else’s rights
- break the terms of the AI providers you connect
- try to get around the limits of your subscription, or copy, resell or reverse engineer Swarm
- interfere with our systems or other people’s use of Swarm
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.
Our software
We own Swarm Agentic and everything in it, apart from your work and third-party components. While your subscription is active, we give you a personal, non-transferable licence to install and use the app under these terms.
Updates and changes
We update Swarm regularly, and features may change. If we make a change that significantly reduces what Swarm does, we’ll tell you in advance.
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Our services come with guarantees that can’t be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits those rights.
Limits on our liability
As far as the law allows, and apart from the guarantees above:
- Swarm is provided as it is, and we don’t promise it will be free of errors or always available
- we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data
- our total liability to you is limited to the amount you’ve paid us in the 12 months before the claim
Where the law lets us limit our liability for failing to meet a consumer guarantee, our liability is limited to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.
Ending these terms
You can stop using Swarm and cancel at any time. We can end these terms if you seriously break them, or by giving you 30 days’ notice. If we end them without a reason relating to you, we’ll refund any amount you’ve paid for time you won’t get to use.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We’ll post the new version here and update the date at the top. If a change materially affects you, we’ll tell you by email before it applies.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you and we submit to the courts of New South Wales.
