Where is my work stored?

On your PC

Projects, conversations, docs and workflows are stored on your own disk as plain files. Conversations are saved as Markdown files you can back up or read anywhere.

Straight to your AI provider

Your messages go directly from your computer to the agent’s company, never through Swarm’s servers. What each AI company does with them is covered by your agreement with that company.

Your Swarm account

Swarm’s servers hold your email address and subscription, and none of your work.

Keys and sign-ins

Agent sign-ins and API keys are kept in Windows’ own secure credential store.

Anonymous usage stats

Swarm can send anonymous feature counts with a random ID, never your content. You can switch them off whenever you like.

Delete everything

You can delete all of Swarm’s data in one go. Your project folders stay where they are.
